There are five elected officers of the association who form our Board of Directors, President, President-Elect, Past President, Treasurer, and National Association of Elementary School Principals (NAESP) Representative. The remainder of the executive board is composed of 4 zone reps, 24 county (and Baltimore City) representatives, middle school reps, private school reps, assistant principal reps, and standing committee chairpersons. The Executive Board of the Maryland Association of Elementary School Principals meets four times a year at various locations in Maryland (with virtual options).
